ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — An Orange County community activist is in the process of bonding out of jail.
The Orange County Jail’s website lists several felony charges Randy Ross is facing involving fraudulent insurance claims.
Ross’s attorney would not go into specifics about the case, but knew his client was under investigation.
“We don’t expect any charges to be filed. A crime wasn’t committed here and this is one of those situations they tease you (with) in law school,” said Roger Scott Jr.
Last year, Ross took some heat for his comment on an online political talk show, The Tezlyn Figaro Show, that former Orange County Commissioner Tiffany Moore Russell didn’t do much in office but have babies.
Additional information about Ross’ arrest has not been released.
