Firefighters and EMS crews trained on rescuing people in the middle of Lake Crane off of Turkey Lake and Vineland roads

The exercise involved a simulated accident between a jet ski and a boat.

Officials said this prepares firefighters and medical staff to move patients from a paramedic to an ER effectively.

Local mom Kathleen Mueller said her 3-year-old son Oliver is living proof of why training like this is so important.
