According to a report, a group of 15 men attacked Debrew inside the Macy’s.
After he was on the ground, the group continued to beat him and used store mannequins to attack him, police said.
Macy’s told police the fight caused $6,800 in damage.
Debrew told police he was visiting from Georgia and he did not know any of his attackers.

Debrew told police he did not want to press charges, officers said.
Video shared on social media shows someone swinging at and missing at a person during the incident. The person who was swatted at then runs and retrieves a handgun from a backpack.
Police said the teenager took a gun out of Debrew's backpack, to scare off the group.
Officers said they are charging Debrew and the teen after seeing the video footage.
Police said no one from the group of attackers was found.
