ORLANDO, Fla. — Crews with Orange County Fire Rescue responded to a serious crash on Interstate 4 early Monday.

The crash happened just before 5 a.m. on westbound I-4 near Central Florida Parkway.

The crash had the on-ramp to Central Florida Parkway shut down for hours.

First responders were seen working to get victims out of a vehicle that appears to have crashed into the back of a construction truck.
Troopers said several people were hurt in a multi-vehicle crash and one of the victims was entrapped inside an SUV.

Two right lanes of I-4 were blocked for hours in the area as crews worked to clear the wreckage.
