ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Search divers with Orange County Fire Rescue did not find anyone Tuesday afternoon after reports of a missing diver at Wekiwa Springs State Park.

Law enforcement officials were called to Wekiwa Springs at about 11 a.m. after several people at the springs believed they witnessed a free diver in the water who did not surface.

Park visitors were told to leave the swimming area as dive crews began their search. After searching for 45 minutes and three caves, divers were unable to locate anyone inside, firefighters said.
The scene was turned over to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, which is continuing the search.
