ORLANDO, Fla. — A new “dueling” racer water slide is now open at SeaWorld’s Aquatica water park.
Central Florida theme parks seem ready to go, with celebrations and new rides reaching record heights.
The result at SeaWorld Aquatica is Riptide Race, Florida’s first dueling racer slide.
“There’s three racing sections where you’re going to be able to see each other racing back and forth as you head toward the finish line,” said Brad Gilmour, Vice President of Aquatica.
Each raft on the ride holds two people.
It takes 116 steps to get to the top, where from a height of 68 feet, visitors will get a full view of the entire park.
The 50th slide at Aquatica is just one of many new additions across Orlando’s theme parks.
