“Today there’s a huge emphasis on college for young adults, but there is also a huge demand for skilled trade positions, and people can build a great life with one of those positions,” said Debbie Rodriguez, iBuild president and owner of Competitive Edge Partners. “The iBuild Invitational is meant to shine a light on skilled trade positions in the construction industry that don’t always get the praise and recognition they deserve and to show people a pathway to success.”

The event is open to the public, and the competition has categories for both high school students and apprentice-level adults.
