Man shot in apparent road rage incident in Orlando, police say

ORLANDO, Fla. — Police said they are investigating what appears to be a road rage shooting Tuesday afternoon.

It happened just after 4 p.m. on South Semoran Boulevard between Curry Ford Road and La Costa Drive. Officers learned that there had been an interaction between the suspect and the victim, who was driving a black four-door Honda, when the suspect shot at the victim.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male driving a blue sedan, possibly a Honda.

The victim, an adult male, was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound and was conscious and alert at the time he arrived at the hospital, police said.

Police are attempting to locate the suspect, who was last seen heading northbound on Semoran Boulevard. He may have struck another vehicle while leaving the area, resulting in front-end damage, police said.
