ORLANDO, Fla. — Saturday was stormy, and Sunday will be hot for metro Orlando, meteorologist Kassandra Crimi said.
She said the morning started off with a few light showers in Central Florida, but that didn’t last for long.
“Daytime highs will reach the 90s for many,” Crimi said. “This means Orlando, Sanford and Leesburg will see near record heat.”

Most of the region will remain dry, but isolated sea breeze storms are possible Sunday afternoon and evening, she said.
Crimi said those living along Central Florida’s southern coastline have the best chance of experiencing a shower later Sunday.
