ORLANDO, Fla. — First responders and other groups in Orange County held a food giveaway on Wednesday.
The food drive took place from 10 a.m. to noon at the Tangelo Baptist Church at 7001 Ravenna Avenue in Orlando.

The drive-thru fresh food giveaway provided meat and eggs, cereal, canned goods, pasta, juice, disinfectant wipes and more.
Recipients also got important information about community resources.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with Neighborhood Center for Families, Farm Share, Orange County Fire Rescue, CarePlus Health Plans, Inc., Cedric Leath at Tesla, Brian Dormevil at A.E.T33 Towing and Jay Patel with Crash Champions to make the event possible.
