ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — UPDATE: The driver of the vehicle that crashed into the pond, according to firefighters.
The driver was identified as Jessica Desroins.
She was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition where she later died, officials said.

A woman was rescued after her car crashed into a pond near an off-ramp on Interstate 4.
The crash happened on I-4 eastbound at Conroy Road.
Orlando Police Chief Orlando Rolon said the woman who was driving the car lost control before the car flipped and landed in the pond. Rolon said eyewitnesses, including two off-duty Orange County firefighters, dove into the pond to rescue the woman.

Firefighters said the woman was taken to a local hospital.
