Lanes reopen after tanker overturns on State Road 528

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The westbound lanes of State Road 528 were shut down Tuesday afternoon due to a crash involving an overturned tanker.

Orange County firefighters said there was oil in the westbound lanes near mile marker 21.

Both directions of the highway were shut down to allow an AirCare helicopter to land. Firefighters said one person was taken to the hospital as a trauma alert.

The lanes have since reopened.
