Worker killed at construction site in Orlando, police say

ORLANDO, Fla. — Police are investigating a fatal accident at a construction site in Orlando.

Orlando police said they received a call around 9:20 a.m. on Monday regarding a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

The crash occurred on the 3000 block of WD Judge Drive where land is being cleared out, police said.

According to police, a construction worker who was on foot was struck by a dump truck.

The Orlando Fire Department responded and pronounced the worker dead at the scene.
