Orlando-area home sales down 28% over last year

ORLANDO, Fla. — Home sales in Orlando are way down.


The Orlando Regional Realtor Association looked into the market last month.

It found there were just over 2,700 purchases, making it the lowest point for sales since the start of the year.

That is also 28% lower than a year ago.

Meantime, the association said the median price for a home is falling as more homes go on the market.
