ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — An Orlando nurse was arrested and is accused of stealing Botox and patient information from the clinic where she worked.
This isn't the first time Tara Kidder has been in trouble and Eyewitness News found out she has a criminal history.
Orlando police said Kidder, who is a registered nurse, allegedly stole $4,500 worth of Botox from Progressive Medical Weight Loss clinic. She's also accused of taking patient records.
"It's scary because you trust these people. They're your healthcare providers. I don't know what they can do with your information," a patient said.
According to investigators, Kidder was planning to start her own business and recently registered a business called Lotus Aesthetics, offiering beauty services to men and women. The clinic told Channel 9 that she had printed fliers and contacted patients about her business.
Kidder is the same woman who was arrested in 2014 for allegedly stealing outfoor furniture and plants in New Smyrna Beach. In 2013, Sanford police charged her with child neglect and shoplifting after they found her two children unattended in a car while she was allegedly stealing from Bealls.
Kidder has bonded out of the Orange County Jail.
