Orlando prostitutes tell MBI agents they made $80K a month

ORLANDO, Fla. — Channel 9 has learned a single arrest uncovered a high-dollar, illegal prostitution ring operating in the heart of Orlando's tourist district.

The two-year investigation revealed the ring was taking in an incredible amount of cash, and those involved were stashing it in various locations.

MBI agents said Jennifer Richmond admitted to them that she made about $80,000 a month as a prostitute.

Agents talked to Richmond and another woman, who also admitted to making that kind of money through prostitution at the Westgate Resort on Carrier Drive about a year ago.

Court documents show agents also talked to one of the johns, who admitted he met with both women in a room at the Westgate resort and he put $200-$300 in an envelope in exchange for sex.

MBI agents said the operation went by several names, including Platinum Companions, and advertised for clients on 18 websites, including Facebook and Backpage.com.

Agents said the women and their alleged pimp were living on the fourth floor of the loft in Sodo off Orange Avenue in Orlando.

During their investigation, the woman said they had $40,000 stashed in air-conditioner vents and under mattresses and rugs.

One of the women said she even had $500,000 hidden, but she wouldn’t say where.

MBI agents said the suspects' $120,000 Bentley was parked at the Westgate.
