Park Plaza Gardens restaurant reopens after health violation citations

WINTER PARK, Fla. — A popular Winter Park restaurant is back open Wednesday after being shut down because of more than a dozen health violations.

The Park Plaza Gardens restaurant on Park Avenue was closed because of violations including roaches, rodents, and food not being stored at the proper temperatures.

Restaurant managers were able to fix all the problems and reopen for business.

Management took to Facebook to ease concerns, saying in part, "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused. Park Plaza Gardens restaurant is currently going through renovation."
