TITUSVILLE, Fla. — Police descended upon a motel early Wednesday after reports of gunfire, the Titusville Police Department said.
Police and Brevard County deputies surrounded the Three Oaks Motel at South Street and South Hopkins Avenue.

Officers were seen carrying long guns.
Police later determined that the gunfire came from a man who fatally shot himself at the motel.
No one else was injured.
All roads have reopened.
