SANFORD, Fla. — A man who authorities said was caught on Walmart surveillance video attempting to take a photo up a woman's dress has been arrested, Sanford police said.
Michael Rainyn, 24, was arrested Thursday on a charge of video voyeurism and confessed to the crime, police said.
Security camera video shows Rainyn in the toy aisle of the Walmart on Rinehart Road, squatting down, reaching his arm across the aisle and attempting to take a photo up the woman's dress, police said.
“That’s horrible, absolutely horrible,” Walmart shopper Patricia Bouington said.

Authorities said the woman caught Rainyn in the act, and he quickly walked away.
Police said Rainyn left the store and drove away in a gold Ford pickup truck.
“I think it’s pretty disgusting, and people like that need to go to jail,” shopper Shawn Buchanan said.
With the assistance of Crimeline, the man in the surveillance video was identified as Rainyn.
Police said many knew him by name. They said he worked at a Valvoline, and the victim was able to pick him out of a photo lineup.
“He was very honest, he disclosed, he didn't hold back in any way whatsoever,” Ronny Neal of the Sanford Police Department said. “He seemed pretty expressive about what happened and was apologetic as well.”
Rainyn turned in his phone as evidence to the Sanford police when he was arrested.
“I tell you, the way you see the news, nothing surprises me anymore,” a shopper said. “You just have to be very careful and watch.”
Rainyn would not talk to Channel 9 reporters.
