Police: Man killed in drive-by shooting in Eatonville

EATONVILLE, Fla. — Eatonville police say a man was killed in a drive-by shooting there Friday afternoon.

The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. in the area of West Kennedy Blvd. and Deacon Jones Blvd.

According to police, the victim was shot in the chest three times. He was taken to the hospital and died there.

The victim has been identified as Daniel Joyner

Police say they’re still looking for the shooter, described as a dark-skinned black man driving a black Infiniti Sedan with dark tinted windows.

They’re asking anyone with information on the case to call Crimeline at (800) 423-8477. Callers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward.
