CASSELBERRY, Fla. — Casselberry police posted a picture of a suspected thief on their Facebook page recently and it paid off.
Police were looking for a young man in connection to the theft of $670 worth of PlayStation controllers from the Casselberry Target store.
On Tuesday they posted surveillance pictures of the man taken at the store.
According to police, a woman contacted them to say she had seen the Facebook post and the young man they were looking for was her son.
Police said they went to the home of Joel Brown, 18, where they found him wearing the same sweatshirt seen in the surveillance photos. Brown was arrested.
Police said they recovered five of the controllers, but several had already been sold to area GameStop stores.
