SANFORD, Fla. — Sanford police are looking for a man who tried to pull off a smash and grab at a pawn shop early Thursday morning.
The crook left the car, with the windshield wipers going, embedded in the wall of the Cash America Pawn on 17-92 near State Road 46A around 3 a.m.
Police said the car was stolen.
They don't believe the man actually got inside to take anything.
No one was inside the store when it happened.
WFTV is waiting to find out if there were any surveillance cameras that may have captured the crime.
