Police: Video shows alleged pimps beating woman they forced into prostitution

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Video obtained by Channel 9 sheds light on how brutal the crime of human trafficking is.

In September, 9 Investigates reported on a woman who jumped from a moving vehicle to get away from her accused pimps.

On Thursday, WFTV's Karla Ray got a look at surveillance video, which shows the woman being beaten and forced into the car against her will.

The video was taken from inside an Orange County hotel and shows two men forcibly handling the woman and forcing her  out of view of the surveillance camera.

MBI investigators said she was being forced to prostitute against her will by brothers Malik Jordan and Pierre Leakes.

Surveillance video shows her being knocked to the ground by Jordan after she allegedly refused to turn tricks for him one day in July.

Before she could get back on her feet, Leakes is seen throwing punch after punch at the woman as she lies on the floor. Eventually, she's pulled to her feet and led down the hallway.

Minutes later, the woman is seen on another camera struggling in a stairwell in Jordan's grip. When she pushes him to try to get away, she's tossed around like a rag doll so violently that she goes out of the camera's line of sight.

In the final piece of newly released video, the woman can be seen trying to pull away from the suspected pimps in a parking lot.

Agents said they were headed to Orange Blossom Trail for her to work. Later that night, she jumped from a car after having a gun put to her head, which is what led to the brothers' arrests.
