The sheriff said it all started when a couple went to pick up a 14-year-old girl who had been staying with Jenkins.

The girl claimed that Jenkins made unwanted sexual advances toward her all day.

Then Jenkins threatened to shoot himself. His gun fired into the ground, and the couple called 911.

When police came to the home, officers told Jenkins to show his hands.

When they tried to shock him with a Taser stun gun, he pulled out the gun, police said.

The officer shot at Jenkins at least seven times.
