BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — A wildlife trapper was working to capture a python in a Palm Bay neighborhood Friday after a resident reported seeing the snake in some tall grass near a home.
Fred Smith spotted the snake on Elmont Street but looked away just long enough for it to slither away.
Others in the neighborhood reported seeing the python, but so far the trapper has been unable to capture it.
