Reedy Creek firefighters to vote on new contract after years of back-and-forth

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Reedy Creek firefighters will vote on a new contract on Monday.

The tentative deal ends years of fighting between the then-Reedy Creek Improvement District and the fire union.

The main issues holding up the deal were pay and staffing.

After just two weeks of negotiations with the new board, a tentative agreement has been made.
