Search continues for quadruple amputee named person of interest in parents' death

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The search continues for the quadruple amputee wanted as a person of interest in the deaths of his parents. Officials said 30-year-old Sean Petrozzino is believed to be armed and dangerous.

Petrozzino's parents were found shot to death in their east Orange County home Tuesday.

WFTV reached out to his ex-wife, Cindi Petrozzino, who may be living in Georgia, and WFTV called several of her relatives, but only received an automated message saying they were not accepting calls.

The bodies of Nancy Petrozzino, 64, and Michael Petrozzino, 63, were found after deputies went to the house on Heming Way in the Andover Cay subdivision, south of Curry Ford Road, to do a well-being check when Nancy Petrozzino didn't show up for work, authorities said.

Next door neighbor Madeline Dahlem told WFTV, she and her boyfriend got a knock on the door from Nancy's co-workers early Tuesday morning when she didn't show up for work.

"We actually opened up one of the windows and yelled for them," said Dahlem. "When nobody came we knew something was up."

Their deaths have been ruled homicides.

Neighbor Michael Vitale said "he seemed like a nice guy," and remembers when Sean Petrozzino went through some tough financial times.

Bank records show Sean Petrozzino owed $200,000 on a home, but moved to Georgia a year ago.  He separated from his wife and moved in with his parents last month.

Authorities said just before he took off, Sean Petrozzino was caught on surveillance at a Wells Fargo Bank ATM in Waterford Lakes, and appeared to be clutching a wad of cash.

Michael Petrozzino worked at Disney World and his wife was a second-grade teacher at Andover Lakes Elementary School.

Investigators said they do not believe the car had special equipment for an amputee to drive it.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Crimeline.
