Seminole County woman arrested for selling fentanyl while running drug rehab facility

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A Seminole County woman has been arrested for selling fentanyl while running a drug rehab facility.

The sheriff’s office doesn’t think the woman did it alone, and the arrest is just the start of busting up the operation.

Sheriff Dennis Lemma said 50-year-old Misty Leigh Gilley was selling fentanyl to the rehab patients out of the business and out of her home.

Lemma said the crime came to light through an informant who had gone to Simple Recovery for help but found a setback.

Multiple bags of fentanyl in a backpack and drug residue were found throughout the facility. Lemma said they even uncovered a trail of on-site injections in a group therapy room, and not one drop of Narcan.
