Seminole parents, school leaders meet to discuss rezoning

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Seminole County school leaders talked about rezoning, Thursday evening.

Parents and schools leaders met at Lake Brantley High to discuss the possible rezoning of several elementary schools.

District officials said that the rezoning is necessary because some schools are overcrowded while others are under-populated.

The schools they talked about rezoning include Bear Lake, Forest City, Sabal Point, Spring Lake and Wekiva Elementary School.

District officals said the hope to have the new zones set by April.
