Publix is one of them trying to step up. The grocery store chain is looking to hire more than 2,000 associates across their operating area.

An official with the company sent out this statement:

“We take pride in serving our communities during times of need, and with the unprecedented demand we are experiencing, we’re in need of more associates to help across our operating area.”
