PINE HILLS, Fla. — A tractor-trailer carrying soda spilled on the roadway in Pine Hills early Friday morning, blocking one southbound lane of Pine Hills Road and Golf Club Parkway, authorities said. The road has since reopened.
The spill left a mess not only on the road, but also on residents' yards.
"When I got to work I saw soda all over the place, all over the front of my business. I was just shocked to see half a Coca-Cola truck," day care owner Renee Chung said.

The other half of the truck, and its contents, was scattered across the road.
Troopers said the driver jumped the curb and struck a concrete utility pole, which sheared the back part of the tractor-trailer, causing the spill.
It took cleanup crews almost seven hours to pick up and shovel all the drinks. Dumpsters and a Bobcat were brought in to speed up the process.
The driver, Wilson Serrano, 46, of St. Cloud, was not injured.
"One of my parents had to park across the street and walk across. It was the biggest mess I've ever seen," Chung said.
Charges are pending against Serrano.
A Coca-Cola spokesperson couldn't say what would happen to the driver, or how many cans were damaged in the crash, but that they are cooperating with authorities.
