St. Johns County teen pleds guilty to murder of 13-year-old girl

St. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — A 16-year-old boy who stabbed a 13-year-old girl to death on Mother’s Day will be sentenced in two weeks.

Aiden Fucci pled guilty to killing Tristyn Bailey in St. Johns County in 2021.

Fucci was 14-years-old at the time of the murder.

A judge set his sentencing hearing to begin March 21.

The judge will allow testimony in regards to his mental health diagnosis.

His attorneys said he has reported hearing voices.

Fucci faces at least 40 years in prison and could get a life sentence.
