Osceola County School district is the only district in the United States with a mobile STEM Laboratory.
This mobile classroom travels across the 1,506 square-mile county, visiting elementary schools promoting careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, STEM.
So far this year, over 1,400 - 5th grade students have participated in this mobile classroom. The program will continue through June and educators are hoping to expand the program to middle school and high school students in the near future.
