KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Kissimmee Utility Authority officials said approximately 4,200 customers were without power following a storm Sunday.
Officials said two separate power outages both originated in substations, one of which was caused by a lightning strike.
By 4 p.m. 2,500 customers had power restored.
Sixteen-hundred customers in the Pugmill Road area were still without power by 6 p.m.
Crews are working to restore power, but have no estimate on when the power will come back on.
