Three hospitalized after vehicles pin motorcycle in Daytona Beach

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Three people are in the hospital after two vehicles sandwiched a motorcycle with two riders, the Daytona Beach Fire Department said.

The crash occurred shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday on Main Street at the intersection with Halifax Ave., firefighters said.

The two riders—one male, one female—were deemed trauma alerts and transported to the hospital. A pedestrian crossing the street at the time of the accident was also transported.

Daytona Beach police are investigating the cause of the collision.
