ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. — Three Seminole County teenagers are accused of stealing a Jeep early Wednesday morning and driving it through the front door of an Altamonte Springs pawn shop.
Investigators believe the teenagers were after weapons and jewelry from the Cash America Pawn on State Road 436.
The Jeep, which was found all the way inside the shop, was stolen, according to investigators.
Investigators said the teenagers -- two adults and a juvenile -- brought a gun into the store and fired it into a case to try and get in, but they were unable to and fled the store.
"I just think they were having a joyride (and) they were all messed up. I mean, just a one night stand and went crazy and weren't thinking right," neighbor Chris Merwin said.
Two of teenagers were arrested in another car a short time later and the third at his home, but deputies have not released their names.
The teenagers will likely face multiple charges, including armed burglary.
