Utility worker finds 9-foot python in Eustis

EUSTIS, Fla. — Three Lake County deputies caught a 9-foot python that was slithering around Eustis, the Sheriff's Office said.

A utility worker said he saw the snake roaming around in the Royal Trails area.

The deputies were able to catch the snake and keep it contained until wildlife officers arrived.

The python was taken to a local reptile facility.
