ORLANDO, Fla. — Video from two cameras caught a man choking a woman and then slamming her to the concrete outside a downtown Orlando pizza shop early Wednesday morning.
On Monday night Monai Willett told Channel 9's Renee Stoll that she doesn't know the man who attacked her.
Willett said she was out with a fellow University of Central Florida student on Tuesday and at the end of the night they stopped at a pizza restaurant.
Willett said she got into an argument with a man over a minor accident with her car.
When the argument became heated someone in the restaurant called 911 to report the incident.
According to police, it took a bicycle officer five minutes to respond. The incident was caught on two video cameras.
Willett said that before the officer arrived, the man she was arguing with tried to talk to her and was touching her arm. She then slapped him three times.
On the video the man can be seen picking her up and choking her for 20 seconds. Willett passed out and the man slammed her to the ground, knocking out several of her teeth.
Police said they were able to find the man and talk to him but did not arrest him.
Police said they did not know that the incident had been recorded when they spoke with the man.
Police said they have completed their investigation.
They said the video of the incident has been added to the evidence in the case.
