VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Volusia County beaches are joining the ranks of the Jersey Shore, Miami Beach and other big tourist markets by breaking into the beach app business.
The new app, coming soon, will show visitors where the parking, restrooms and other services are along Volusia's more than 40 miles of beach.
Leaders said the app is costing the county about $25,000.
