‘Where’s my money?’: Woman pries open store’s cash registers with crowbar-looking object after being denied refund

ORANGE CITY, Fla. — An Orange City woman was arrested Tuesday after police said she pried open a store’s cash registers with what was possibly was a crowbar after workers told her they had already given her a refund.

Orange City police said Dahianna Serraty is accused of forcing the registers open at a Spectrum store on Enterprise Road.

Police said Serraty walked over to the registers, pried them open with a crowbar-looking object, grabbed the money inside and walked out.

Witnesses said Serraty asked for a refund of a payment she was not credited. She then came back to speak with another staff member about her refund before she returned for a third time with what was possibly a crowbar.

Witnesses said they heard Serraty saying, “Where’s my money? I’m getting my money” and “I’m going to get my money one way or another."
