Wet weekend ahead for Central Florida as front moves in

ORLANDO, Fla. — Central Florida could see a wet weekend as a nearby front will help increase our chance for rain throughout the weekend.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy and warm, with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s.

Conditions will be dry for the first half of the day, but we’ll start to see showers and storms late this afternoon and into our evening hours.

Sunday will be, windy and cooler with highs in the 70s.

A strong northeasterly wind will increase the chance of rain, specifically at our local beaches.

Some scattered showers will impact central portions of Central Florida.
