Winter Park property with Chick-fil-A ground lease sells for big money

The ground beneath a busy Chick-fil-A restaurant has traded hands in a $4 million property transaction.

Placerville, California-based entity Eldoq LLC bought the 0.9-acre parcel at 700 S. Orlando Ave. in Winter Park on May 1 from the Nielsen Family Limited Partnership, show Orange County records.

The property is home to a 5,667-square-foot Chick-fil-A restaurant built in 2002 that is on a long-term ground lease, according to Lee Zerivitz, the broker for the seller.
