Woman allegedly chomps spider in Chef Boyardee ravioli; can heads to USDA

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — A Brevard County woman's can of ravioli, which she said had a spider in it, is on its way to United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) headquarters.

A food inspector picked up the sample from Victoria Harrah's Mims home on Monday morning.

Last week, Harrah said she was eating a can of Chef Boyardee ravioli when she bit into a dead spider and her tongue went numb.

The parent company, Conagra, maintains its products are safe.
