ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Saturday afternoon.

According to police, the shooting occurred on the 4900 block of Cason Cove Drive, near the intersection of President Barack Obama Parkway and Cason Cove Drive.

Officers responded to the address at approximately 11:36 a.m. in reference to a shooting that happened inside an apartment at that location, police said.

Upon arrival, Orlando police located an adult male victim who was shot.

The Orlando Fire Department pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.

No information on the shooter is available, and police are not releasing any more information at this time.
