Julian Castro, 44, as served as both the mayor of San Antonio, Texas, and the secretary of Housing and Urban Development under President Barack Obama during his second term. He is the only Latino in the race. Analysts believe this could help him win votes of Democrats looking for a new face of their party. However, his fundraising efforts have not reached the scope of the other candidates.
