When and where will Hurricane Michael make landfall? According to the National Hurricane Center’s latest forecast, here is the timeline for Michael’s path.
The current model has Michael heading north up the eastern side of the Gulf of Mexico early Wednesday.
Forecasters say that Michael is expected to begin making a turn toward the northeast sometime on Wednesday morning. That turn would bring Michael into Florida somewhere near Panama City Beach around 2 p.m. Wednesday, according to the NHC.

Here is Michael’s timeline according to NHC information:
At 7 a.m. CDT Wednesday: Michael is moving north in the Gulf of Mexico, close to the Florida coast.
At 8 a.m. CDT Wednesday: Tropical storm-force winds will be felt along the Florida coast and inland. Tropical storm force winds are 39-73 mph.
At 8 a.m. CDT Wednesday: Michael is expected to begin to turn toward the Florida coast. Tropical storm-force winds will begin to be felt around the Tallahassee area.

At 2 p.m. CDT Wednesday: Michael's eye is forecast to be just off Panama City Beach as the storm moves northeast. Michael is expected to make landfall as a Category 4 hurricane.
At 3 p.m. CDT Wednesday: Tropical storm-force winds will be felt in Atlanta southward to the Georgia/Florida line.

At 9 p.m. CDT Wednesday: Southern South Carolina will begin to experience tropical storm-force winds.
At 1 a.m. CDT Thursday: The storm's center should be moving northeast over southern Georgia, still as a hurricane.
At 8 a.m. CDT Thursday: Michael will be moving into South Carolina.
At 2 p.m. EDT Thursday: Michael should be moving off the North Carolina coast and into the Atlantic.
