Teen arrested for climbing One World Trade Center scales other New York skyscrapers

NEW YORK — A teen who was previously arrested for climbing New York's One World Trade Center is making headlines again for scaling other skyscrapers.

, Justin Casquejo, 18, of Weehawken, New Jersey, has taken to social media to share several

that show him atop several high-rises in New York City.

Casquejo was arrested and sentenced to community service in 2014 after he illegally climbed One World Trade Center,

. After climbing another building, he was sentenced to three years' probation.

WNBC reports that New York police are investigating the new photos.

Former NYPD Detective Joe Giacalone

that Casquejo's actions could put him and emergency personnel in danger.

"The problem is he's thousands of feet in the air, and you can't tempt gravity too many times and survive," Giacalone said.

"You have to put (first responders) at risk for having to rescue this kid, and the second thing is while they're doing this, there could be another emergency they couldn't get to. So this affects the whole city."
