ROSEVILLE, Mich. — A body was found in a bed of a pickup truck Thursday afternoon in Roseville, Michigan.
According to WJBK, the Roseville Police Department said a driver fled the scene after a minor rear-end crash Thursday afternoon near Common and Hayes roads. It was in this crash that police found a body in the bed of a pickup truck.
RPD told WJBK that they don’t believe the body had anything to do with the crash, and it was there in the bed of the truck before the crash happened.
According to WJBK, officers say they know the identity of the driver of the pickup truck, but the driver has not yet been located.
The driver of the rear-ended car also left the scene but was stopped nearby, according to WDIV. Officers spoke with the driver and believe that the person had nothing to do with the body.
The investigation is ongoing. No further information has been released.
