LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. — According to 1 Corinthians 3:13, “The fire will test the quality of each person’s work."
Fire tested the quality of a Louisiana home late Sunday, destroying the home completely but leaving wall studs with scripture passages written upon them unscathed, WAFB reported.
According to a Facebook post by Livingston Parish Fire Protection District 2 officials, “The fire stopped at the scriptures.”
The fire broke out shortly before midnight, WAFB reported.
One of the studs carried scripture from Matthew 6:34, reading, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
There were no injuries, fire officials said.
