Two Minnesota State Troopers, Andy Kutz and Chelsea Yeager, found a bunny along the U.S. Highway 169, located a few miles from Mankato, on Monday, according to KEYC.

No, it isn’t the Easter bunny,” Minnesota State Patrol said on Facebook. The bunny was named “Mr. Trooper.”

The troopers took the bunny to the Blue Earth-Nicollet County Humane Society on Monday night, and it was later taken to a bunny rescue in the area, the news outlet reported.

Troopers believe that the bunny was a pet that had been dropped off by the highway.

“If his owners aren’t located, the rescue will find him a good home,” troopers said.
